The resource manual, Credit Counseling: An Integrated Approach, takes an application-based approach to such topics as managing credit, creating a spending plan, and understanding the psychological side of money. Participants will learn about personality types and complete the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Also included are sections on budget analysis and housing counseling. Exercises and self-assessments appear throughout. Participants of this seminar will leave prepared to take the Senior Credit Counselor certification exam offered by The National Association of Certified Credit Counselors (NACCC).

This program is a Holistic approach to financial counseling to include credit and financial knowledge as well as an in-depth understanding of Psychology of Money. The counselor learns an array of problem solving and counseling approaches for optimum communication and empowerment of the client.
Communications and Understanding Personality Seminar 16 CEUs (16 hour Seminar) $300.00
Effective communication in credit and financial counseling is essential. The Communication CEU provides employees with the skills needed for effective communication with clients. Participants receive a self-assessment with the Myers Briggs Type Indicator in order to identify their own communication and style and learn how to identify the styles of others they will interact with. The seminar also provides counselors with information on the dynamics of communication, personality styles, the interaction of personality and communication, and diversity.
Team Leader Certification Program 16 CEUs (16 hour Seminar with Action Plan) $300.00
Experienced Counselors in leadership roles have the opportunity to gain the critical skills necessary for successful team building. Successful applicants earn the designation Certified Team Leader by demonstrating competencies in a small group setting. Participants learn specific techniques in team building, decision-making, and motivation. This seminar provides counselors with a wealth of information they will assemble from handouts pertaining to the very latest on topics concerning leadership within the debt management industry.
In addition this full-day seminar will provide powerful resources and action plans for leaders in the debt management industry.
* Many Continuing Education courses can be provided as combination self-study and live seminar programs. In general, these programs require one day of self-study prior to a full-day seminar taught on site. The content of these programs can be tailored to your specific organization's needs and are worth 16 CEUs. A minimum of 10 attendees is usually required.

This conference is based on the Keys to Success 4th edition manual, and participants will leave prepared to take the Credit Counselor certification exam offered by The National Association of Certified Credit Counselors (NACCC) or the Financial Health Counselor certification exam offered by The Association of Financial Health Counselors (AFHC).
